Randi Baron, a.k.a. Condiment Queen NYC, is a born and raised New Yorker living in Brooklyn. For over a decade she has built recipes from scratch just for the fun of it: a Sunday supper club with friends, taking swings at homemade dumplings, Indian food, Italian food, and whatever came next. She hosts the dinner party. She gives gifts in the form of food, a lasagna or a chicken soup for a sick friend. Condiment Queen grew straight out of all of that. She named her cats Penne and Rigatoni. Need we say more?
She runs a food account that is mostly her yelling about condiments, and she got tired of spice blends that only do one thing. So she made ones that don't: dry blends, mixed by hand in small batches, that turn into a real sauce the second they hit a liquid. No fillers, no anti-caking junk. Add a liquid. Get a sauce.
Her quest for the perfect bite has taken her around the world, more than 25 countries so far. She has eaten fresh-caught fish at Tsukiji Market in Tokyo at eight in the morning, dined in a castle in Jaipur, and had the best tomato salad of her life in Greece. She picks the best possible places to eat and travel, especially if you love food the way she does. Her lifelong hero: Anthony Bourdain.
